I was in NY in the summer of 2019 and went to visit the Neue Gallery where Adele Both Bauer I lives now. I was in such an aww when I saw her, all the details, all the different patterns, the opulence of the gold. I was in such a delight that I wanted to run to my studio and paint but painted in my own style, using my own words. And so I did, I paint “Adele I my way” I translated the beautiful lady into a luxurious chair, with a gold frame, surrounded by patterns in a Klimt-like style.  I had so much fun that I decided to paint Adele II again using my manner. a few months later I painted Margareth, and Måda (both portraits painted by Klimt) and that’s why I decided to paint an entire series taking portraits from the Great Masters including Klimt, Schiele, Matisse, Mirò, Hockney, and Van Gogh.
